Meet Dr. Rachael Lux (Denver, CO)

Rachael Lux, O.D., received her Doctor of Optometry from The Ohio State University College of Optometry in 2024 and earned her Bachelor of Science in Nutrition Science from the University of Nebraska Lincoln in 2020.

Dr. Lux developed an interest in optometry through her studies in nutrition and the connection between systemic health and eye health. This background allows her to incorporate nutrition science into primary care optometry and ocular disease management. She finds it especially rewarding to help patients achieve their best vision through glasses or specialty contact lenses.

Dr. Lux is a residency-trained optometrist who completed her residency at the Salt Lake City VA and Moran Eye Center at the University of Utah, with a focus on comprehensive eye care, ocular disease, and specialty contact lenses, including multifocal, rigid gas permeable, hybrid, and scleral lenses. She also enjoys working with children and provides myopia management services.

Originally from northeast Nebraska, Dr. Lux enjoys spending time outdoors, hiking, cooking for family and friends, and following Nebraska sports.
