Mark your calendars for April 27th
Sumner Vision has been open the past few weeks to care for urgent and emergency needs of our patients. We have replaced glasses on an urgent basis and have been ordering contact lenses for our patients as needed. On April 27th, we will begin normal office hours and once again are making appointments now.
This means that we’ll be resuming all services including regular eye exam, Scleral Lens, and dry eye consultation plus optical service. We will be spending the rest of this and next week ensuring that our facilities are ready to go and preparing our safe practices. Our operations will have the following actions in place to ensure the safety of your patients:
-Masks will be worn by all doctors, staff, and patients
-Increased cleaning and disinfecting practices
-Social distancing strictly enforced with modified patient flows to ensure safety
Doctors, staff, and patient temps will be taken when entering the office.
We will ask patients to be seen alone and may recommend that drivers or family members wait outside of the office. Needs for accompaniment can be handled on a case by case basis, but our goal is to reduce the numbers of people in the office.
Be sure to call now and make your eye care appointment if you are now due.
Please feel free to reach out to Dr. Larry D. Sumner and Allen Zarrin with any questions that you may have, and be sure to check out our website where we’ve been posting articles, information, and updates.
